Meet Beverly Farris
Beverly Farris is a highly skilled, dual board-certified nurse practitioner based in Frisco, Texas, where she resides with her husband and family. Since 2006, she has dedicated herself full-time to practicing medicine, bringing a wealth of expertise in critical care—particularly in ICU and ER settings—as well as hands-on experience in family medicine, aesthetics, and skincare.
Education & Clinical Background
Beverly earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2005 from The University of Texas at Tyler. She began her career in the Intensive Care Unit at Denton Regional Medical Center (now Medical City Denton), where she honed her skills in high-acuity patient care.
In 2009, she completed her Master’s degree at the University of Southern Indiana (USI), becoming board certified as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP-BC). Since then, Beverly has worked at a Level 1 Trauma Center in North Dallas, providing advanced care to critically ill patients and performing complex procedures as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Aesthetic Passion & Advanced Certification
While completing her master’s program, Beverly trained with the owner of a successful aesthetic practice in Denton. That experience ignited a deep passion for aesthetic medicine and inspired her long-term vision for AestheticFX Med Spa.
In 2017, she returned to USI to pursue a Post-Master’s Certificate in Family Practice, becoming a dual-certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C). This additional certification expanded her scope of practice and enabled her to integrate clinical expertise with artistic precision in launching her own aesthetic practice.
Beyond her formal education, Beverly has completed extensive training through the National Laser Institute and continues to stay at the forefront of her field through active membership in several professional organizations, including:
- The American Association of Critical Care Nurses (AACN)
- International Academy of Aesthetics (IAA)
- American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine (AAAM)
- The American Med Spa Association (AmSpa)
